• The Furnace becomes off and the cooling fan ON automatically.
• The Instrument basically consists of a Miniature Furnace with Automatic Ramp Rate of Heating, Microprocessor Controlled, when “Start” key is pressed, heating starts. There is Auto detection of Opto-coupled Infra-Red transmission system, when sample melts, photodiode detects the signal and Melting Temperature put on hold / latched on display automatically.
• The instrument gives audio & visual indications, on reaching the temperature at which the sample melts.
•  All the selection of programming is fully protected from power failure including “HOLD” action of melting temperature.
